Toshiba Classic Volunteer Opportunities

The Toshiba Classic 2018 will be the first tournament, Celina and Andreas will enjoy together in Newport Beach, CA.  Celina was a Toshiba Classic Volunteer year ago before we met. With the tournament taking a break in 2017 and moving to the spring in 2018, we are now able to volunteer their together. We are excited to help out with Player Transportation for a few days. Unfortunately, our work schedules don't allow us to spend the whole week with all the other great Toshiba Classic Volunteers, but we are looking forward to being part of the team starting in 2018 PGA TOUR Champions Season, that will end with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship at Phoenix Country Club in November.

Below you will find the Toshiba Classic Volunteer Committee Descriptions for all the volunteer committees available for you to participate in. We also have details about the volunteer package (including uniform, tickets, etc.).  At the bottom of this page, you will find a link to the 'official' tournament's volunteer website, where you can register to volunteer. Check out the latest updates towards the bottom on this page. Get tickets for the tournament before they sell out. About the Toshiba Classic

The Toshiba Classic is the largest and most exciting annual event in Orange County, CA. Each year, 1,000 volunteers, 200 sponsors and 80,000 spectators support the Toshiba Classic, providing the means for a tournament that produces record earnings for charity. The Toshiba Classic has become a tradition in the Orange County community.

The tournament generates over $1,000,000 for charity annually, and our 19 year total exceeds $19 million. Beginning with the 2011 tournament, proceeds have benefited the Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center at Hoag Hospital. In addition to Hoag, tournament proceeds have also been contributed to more than 45 other charities.

Whether you love golf or whether you have a heart for the community, volunteering at the Toshiba Classic is an experience like no other in sports. You get to rub elbows with golf greats like John Daly, Fred Couples, Corey Pavin and Mark O’Meara while being involved in one of the most philanthropic events in Orange County. Most importantly, our volunteers are vital to staging the most successful golf tournament on the PGA TOUR Champions and to raising a million dollars each year for Hoag Hospital and other local charities.
