Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at PGA TOUR Tournaments, for example The Genesis Invitational (our 'home' tournament), can be a lot of fun. Below is a list of PGA TOUR 'tourneys'.  As of the 2018/2019 season, there are a few changes compared to previous seasons. For example the FedEx Cup playoffs are going down to 3 vs the 4 that we were used to for many years. The 2019/2020 season brought massive changes due to COVID-19.   After a few months break, the tournaments picked up again, but without spectators for the remainder of the season as well as the first tournaments in the 2020/2021 season. In the meantime (summer 2022), the COVID-19 restrictions have been mostly lifted and tournaments are in full swing with spectators and full volunteer committees.

The list below also includes the Majors (The Masters, US Open, British Open, PGA Championship), but those usually have long wait lists and higher volunteer fees. However, you may get lucky and catch a spot in those events as well. You will find a link to the respective PGA TOUR tournaments, as well as links to this year's winner, or - in case the tournament is still to be played this season - last year's winner. Each page for the respective PGA tournaments will be filled with information about the event, about volunteering, the volunteer uniforms, local accommodation, volunteer experience exchange and much more. PGA TOUR Schedule 2025

As of mid-August 2024, the PGA TOUR Schedule 2025 has been published. As in 2024, it contains 4 Majors, The Players, 8 Signature Events, 18 Full-Field Events and a few Additional Events. The 3-event FedExCup Playoffs follow during the month of August, with the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, TN (top 70 players) and the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, GA (top 30 players) framing the BMW Championship (top 50 players) which will once again being played at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, MD - just north of Baltimore.

The Signature Events in 2025 are:

• The Sentry (Dec. 30-Jan. 5)
• AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (Jan. 27-Feb. 2)
• The Genesis Invitational (Feb. 10-16)
• Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard (March 3-9)
• RBC Heritage (April 14-20)
• Truist Championship (May 5-11)
• The Memorial Tournament presented by Workday (May 26-June 1)
• Travelers Championship (June 16-22)

When it comes to volunteering, we posted the 2025 PGA TOUR schedule below. The tournament names contain a hyperlink. If you click on the respective hyperlink, you will get redirected to the tournament's volunteer webpage (if available). Some links direct you to pages on this (www.golf-volunteers.com) website, where I (Andreas) run VIP / Player Transportation. Even on those pages, you will find registration links to the tournament, so you will always end up on an 'official' tournament volunteer page.

PGA TOUR Schedule Fall 2025

As of mid-December 2024, the PGA TOUR has released the 2025 Fall Schedule. The tournaments on the schedule are shown in the grid below. The tournament names (as usual) are hyperlinked to the respective volunteer pages of those events. Not all volunteer pages have been updated for 2025 yet and registration usually starts 6-9 months prior to the tournament. So, if you are interested in volunteering at any of those fall events, check out the link and see, if you can register already.

The newly added Baycurrent Classic in Yokohama, Japan, does not yet (as of December 2024) a volunteer page set up. Once it becomes available, we'll post the link.

What is the importance of the Fall Schedule?

The FedExCup Fall will finalize the top 100 eligibility for the 2026 FedExCup Regular Season, providing exempt status for Full-Field Events as well as a spot in THE PLAYERS Championship. Among the significant benefits to winning during the FedExCup Fall are a two-year PGA TOUR exemption, 500 FedExCup points, entry into the season-opening The Sentry and eligibility into major championships that have traditionally invited PGA TOUR winners.

Players who qualify for the 2025 FedExCup Playoffs (top 70) are exempt for the 2026 season. The players advancing to the BMW Championship (top 50) will also be exempt into all Signature Events for 2026. Players ranked No. 51 and beyond will carry their FedExCup Points from the Regular Season and first FedExCup Playoffs event into the FedExCup Fall and will continue to accumulate FedExCup Points to finalize the FedExCup Fall standings and determine eligibility for the 2026 season. As part of the Aon Next 10, players ranked Nos. 51-60 through the FedExCup Fall earn their way into two early-season 2026 Signature Events, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Genesis Invitational.

PGA TOUR Schedule Fall 2024

The Fall 2024 Schedule of the PGA TOUR has NOT yet been officially released. However, based on the 2023 Fall Schedule, we checked out the 2023 tournaments for 2024 dates and listed those below.

Since the regular 2024 season will finish up with the TOUR Championship in Atlanta end of August 2024 and the 2025 season won't start until Maui in January, there are several months in the fall that are now covered with PGA TOUR tournaments and therefore offer quite a few golf volunteer opportunities.

PGA TOUR Schedule 2024

After many seasons, the PGA TOUR schedule goes back to the calendar year. No more 'wrap-around' season. The 2024 PGA TOUR season starts off with the Sentry Tournament of Champions on Maui in the first week of January 2024. The season will finish (as usual) with the TOUR Championship in Atlanta in late August.  The season will be followed by the Fall Schedule. Tournaments and dates will be announced in a few months.

Just like in previous years, find all the tournaments sorted by date. The majority of the tournaments listed here contains a direct link to the respective volunteer pages for each tournament. Just click on the underlined tournament name. If we didn't find a volunteer page for a tournament, it will be posted as soon as it has been published. Therefore just keep checking back here or subscribe to our newsletter, where will also inform you, when a tournament's volunteer page is available for registrations or at least information or a wait list.  Some links go to the Transportation Committee page, that I set up for those tournaments, where I run Player/VIP Transportation and the Courtesy Car fleet. Just in case you have a specific interest to help out there. You can still get to the tournaments' volunteer pages from there though.

PGA TOUR Schedule Fall 2023

The fall schedule of the PGA TOUR has been released.  Those tournament fill the time between the end of the 2022/2023 season and the beginning of 2024 season.

The 2024 season will begin with the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui and the schedule will now be per calendar year, not the wrap-around season format anymore.

Since the 2022/2023 season will finish up with the TOUR Championship in Atlanta end of August 2023 and the 2024 season won't start until Maui in January, there are several months in the fall that are now covered with PGA TOUR tournaments and therefore offer quite a few golf volunteer opportunities.

PGA TOUR Schedule 2021/2022

The 2021/2022 PGA TOUR schedule brings some changes to the calendar.  The season contains 45 tournaments plus 3 playoff events.
