Golf Volunteer Opportunities

THE NORTHERN TRUST golf tournament is the first tournament of the PGA TOUR's FedEx Cup playoff season. 2016 was our first time volunteering at the tournament, when it was held at Bethpage (Black) in Farmingdale, NY. Back then (and years prior) it was known as The Barclays. With the title sponsor change to THE NORTHERN TRUST, the tournament moved to Glen Oaks Club in Old Westbury, NY in 2017. In 2018, we were at The Ridgewood Country Club in Ridgewood, NJ. In 2019 the event will return to Liberty National, which was also the site for the 2017 Presidents Cup. The backdrop (Statue of Liberty and Manhattan, NY) is just amazing. In 2020, the tournament will move to TPC Boston, 2021 will feature the event at Liberty National in Jersey City, NJ again.

In past years, Northern Trust was the title sponsor for the Northern Trust Open, played at Riviera Country Club (just outside of Santa Monica, CA) every February. Also the tournament, where we met.

Just like in previous years, THE NORTHERN TRUST will raise a lot of money for local charities. In 2015 for example, the tournament generated over $1.4 million and since its inception, charities received donations of more than $45 million.
