CSCC Transportation Committee

The CSCC Transportation Committee is "Our favorite committee" during the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.

Committee volunteers provide transportation to players, their family members and VIP guests before, during and after the tournament. Volunteers assist with the car inventory and control the distribution of official tournament vehicles. The committee also assists in the return of vehicles after the tournament. Drivers must be at least 25 years old and provide a valid driver’s license. This Committee sometimes requires a lot of downtime due to the players' unpredictable schedule so it is recommended that you bring a book to pass time. If downtime allows, you may even have the chance to check out play in-person as we are usually located near the driving range or one of the holes.

You get to drive some nice cars and get to meet some really nice people.

Charles Schwab Cup Volunteer Parking

Volunteer Parking Location in 2023:

Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 20th Avenue Lot

Volunteers must show their volunteer badge in order to receive free parking.

The parking lot (LOT 2) will be open and running continuous shuttles. Shuttle times below:

Wednesday, November 8 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday, November 9 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Sunday, November 12 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Volunteer should allocate extra time for travel prior to their shift.

Volunteer Uniform

The Charles Schwab Cup Championship adult uniforms are provided by Greg Norman. Please wear your uniforms and credentials during your working shift. When you are a spectator, wear personal clothes, but use your credential to access the course. The uniform consists of the following:

Levelwear Outerwear (issued by PGA TOUR) - not required to wear but it's chilly in the morning.
Levelwear Polo (issued by PGA TOUR)
Baseball Cap or Visor (issued by PGA TOUR)
KHAKI colored pants, shorts or skorts (no jeans or cargo pants)

Please review the bag policy and use only clear bags (part of your uniform package) when on-site. See below for polo shirt and outerwear colors

11/25/2023 - Wrap Up
The wrap up email for 2023 has been sent. Please check your email and please participate in our committee survey.
The 2024 tournament week will be from 11/4 - 11/10/2024, with transportation duties from 11/2 - 11/11/2024.
10/23/2023 - MVRs
Check your email for our team schedule and the MVR form. Fill out and send back the MVR as quickly as possible.
10/20/2023 - Parking
Player Transportation Volunteers will park in Lot 2, but keep an eye on our committee emails/newsletters with special instructions. Lot 2 parking applies to Wednesday - Sunday of tournament week. Monday/Tuesday of tournament week and Monday post tournament, parking will be at the clubhouse. Special parking pass is needed and will be distributed.
